Counselling & Psychotherapy Private Therapy in the UK

A Safe Space to Talk, Heal,
and Move Forward

Life can feel overwhelming at times. Counselling offers a confidential and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings, gain clarity, and find new ways to cope.

Peaceful forest path surrounded by trees, symbolising personal growth, clarity and the journey of counselling.

Why Counselling?

We all face challenges - whether it’s stress, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or just the feeling of being “stuck.” Counselling is not about judgment or quick fixes. It’s about creating space to talk openly, work through what’s weighing on you, and find healthier ways to cope and grow.

What We Can Work On

Counselling can help with a wide range of issues, including:

  • Anxiety, stress, and panic

  • Depression and low mood

  • Relationship struggles and communication difficulties

  • Confidence and self-esteem

  • Coping with loss, change, or life transitions

  • Unwanted habits and negative thought patterns

(And more - every person’s journey is unique, and sessions are always tailored to your needs.)

Client Feedback

“It took me a long time to finally realise I needed to speak to a therapist — and I’m so thankful I found Tom. Our sessions were so helpful, and I can really see how counselling has impacted my day-to-day life. I felt safe immediately with Tom. He took the time to go at my pace, and even when I felt I was rambling, he never made me feel that anything I said was irrelevant. He helped me organise my thoughts and understand the changes I was making in my life. I truly believe therapy saved my life.”

—  Z.P, Counselling Client

"Tom is extremely professional and easy to talk to. He is very accepting of all walks of life and really knows his stuff. I have enjoyed our conversations and debates and have felt myself grow more confident over time with his help, his listening and understanding. I highly recommended Tom to anyone suffering from excessive anxiety, stress or low self confidence."

—  Tim B, Counselling Client

"I first came to Tom for grief counselling in early March, and over the past six months of sessions, we adapted and have worked together to help me reach a much happier and more stable state of mind for both my grief and my life as a whole. He is incredibly accommodating, understanding and easy to get along with! I cannot recommend his services highly enough."

—  G. Melville, Counselling Client
